Fantastic coffee, frappes, smoothies, scones and atmosphere! Our favorite coffee shop in all of Iowa! Drive-thru or dine-in with lots of space and a private community room available for reservation. Clean restrooms and free Wi-Fi.
This was my first time at Trading Grounds, and the coffee and service were great. The cold brew was delicious as was the regular iced coffee. I was greeted at the door with smiles and welcomes as I walked in with my kids. I immediately felt very welcome and at home. This is definitely a place my wife and I plan to go to more.
Excellent cafe. Fantastic coffee. Great latte! Perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend and have a conversation or go solo to get some work done with their free wifi or just chill. Awesome atmosphere with a good vibe. A regular spot for me and the wife.
The Trading Grounds Coffee Shop had a clean and comfortable atmosphere. The staff was friendly and patient when I was deciding on an order. I found the Caramel Apple Cider to be pretty good. Sweet but not overly so. And it was prepared in a decent amount of time. I’m not sure what their coffee specials are like but I plan to visit again to find out.
This place is amazing!!! And I don’t say that lightly! Highly recommend. The drinks were fantastic and the service was even better. There was an extremely helpful and polite barista taking orders- I wish I knew his name to give him recognition. The shop was clean, had good vibes, and there was even well-priced merch. My daughter accidentally spilled my coffee and the barista was kind enough to make me another one on the house without me asking, which I immensely appreciated. Overall, I thought this place had yummy black coffee, an excellent menu that’s not too overwhelming but offers options for everyone, and has a great dirty chai. Went back twice in one day, we liked it so much. And will be back again- thank you!!
Not only is Trading Grounds fantastic because they have a drive-up, BUT the inside is an experience in itself. The moment you walk in, you get an instant pick me up. The staff is friendly and the coffee is superb! Quick, friendly service! The scones were good too with the perfect amount of sweetness to accompany my Founders coffee. Delish! Can’t wait to come back and hope to see bags that I can purchase for take home soon!
Went to try out this place today for the first time! It’s so cute! Love the little mustache man plant pot they got from Roots 3 Their shiny red La Marzacco machine really impressed me as I know from tiktok only the most serious of coffee snobs are raving over local shops with them. I got a “Founder” one of their signature drinks & it was perfect! The girls working at the counter were very kind & friendly. I think I will come back again soon!
Very warm and welcoming staff. Great coffee selection. Had raw chocolate cold brew. Had never had anything like that. Out standing. Also had blueberry infused cold brew... another flavor that was new to us...but also outstanding in flavor. Along with delicious blueberry coffee cake...could not ask for a better place. This was our first time here...but will be back.
